Planet Earth Ongoing Changes and Facelifts

Here in northern Germany, there was no snow throughout the winter either. only now in March. The day before yesterday and yesterday we had a snow cover of 10 - 15 cm. It was not a disaster, but still unusual for this time of year.

Wednesday night was the coldest of the year so far, with temperatures plummeting to -16C in Altnaharra, Scotland.

In Northern Ireland people were warned of "atrocious driving conditions" because of the wind and snow followed by icy conditions on Friday. In north Wales persistent snow and freezing rain could be hazardous to infrastructure and travel.

Winter comes in march again..

llittle or no snow all winter did have 2 cold spells this time one very cold spell first half of december and plenty of freezing fog..

But this week alone gave 13 inches of snow in total and 1 inch thick glaze on the trees ice storm hills only but its the worst I ve seen also a blizzard thursday night..
