Here is a man whose main conclusion in this video is that WE ARE RESPONSIBLE for our present conditions, as well as responsible for their improvement. I like the way he ponders everything ...

The main way we can reach a state of harmony / paradise on this world is through OURSELVES.

Dear Friends: the text below struck me as being particularly relevant today, so I am inspired to post it.

For more in the THE WORLD WILL BECOME PEACEFUL series, see my book of the same name:

The world will become peaceful, beautiful and abundant

IF WE REALISE THERE IS ALWAYS A DIFFERENT WAY
    OF APPROACHING DIFFICULT ISSUES

There is an exceptionally strong cult of individualism on this planet, deliberately furthered by those who wish to see us divided from each other, so that they can tighten the noose of control. As a result, we often feel that we have to assert ourselves, unforgivingly bulldoze through our agendas with scant regard for others, insisting that our plans and ways are the best. This has been called "self-realization", but in fact it can lead to self-destruction in the long run, self being THE WHOLE GLOBAL SELF as opposed to the individual self.

If we insist on having our own way all the time, we may miss valuable opportunities for new insights or collaboration. If we argue our point until our family and friends can bear it no longer, then we are invited to take a pause from attempting to convince, and to listen to their point of view. They will always have a reason for saying what they do. To jump into the fray, without knowing the terrain / the opinions / situations / circumstances of others is to fan a fire which could just continue simmering. Great conflagrations are violent. They are sometimes necessary because there is no other way, but they have a very final outcome.

Increased "holding back" and "sensitivity" demonstrated by all planetary members will promote peace. Our listening ability must be up to par with our determination to pull something through, otherwise valuable chances for cooperation, understanding and joy will be swept aside.

Dear Readers: concerning the question, WHAT DETERMINES WHETHER WE MOVE TOWARDS MORE BULLSHIT, OR WHETHER WE MOVE TOWARDS PARADISE, I would say that this is determined by OUR CHOICES, which at the same time are governed by our LEVEL OF SPIRITUALITY. There will be many weapons / opportunities / technological developments available to us, but it is OUR CHOICE whether to use these for peace or for war.

Here is a very thought-provoking video of a lecture which opens up whole new vistas in the area of neurobiology, given in 2018. The same question applies:

Are we going to use "possession experiments" or brain to brain technology to control people, or to benefit them?

Are we going to use gene-splicing to give vision, for example, to people who have lost it, or are we going to use it in the military to see through walls and ambush the "enemy"?

Are we going to use drones, connected to a human brain, to destroy other humans, or to locate and save them?

Are we going to use our ability to send information within a bacteria into the body of another ignorer to destroy them or to help them?

Are we going to use the technology available to create new memories, or to erase old ones, to benefit or control humankind?
